Michelle has been a qualified veterinary surgeon since last century (1991) after training at Cambridge University. After working in East Anglia as a mixed but primarily equine vet, she returned to Staffordshire and after the births of her children, started working in small animal practice. She has spent many years as a first opinion vet in a number of local practices and joined Glenthorne in September 2022 based in Tutbury on a part time basis.
Michelle has a particular interest in hyperthyroid cats and is happiest when operating in theatre.
When not at work Michelle spends her time riding, reading, doing yoga, growing vegetables and dog walking. She has an interest in wilding and loves watching wildlife in her local surroundings which she shares with her family, dog and two cats.
