Sarah Salmon

Sarah has been a qualified veterinary nurse since June 2004 after graduating from the University West of England with a degree in Veterinary nursing science. Sarah stepped out of university straight into the practice where she has been a registered nurse, clinical coach training students and a senior nurse leading the Uttoxeter nursing team. Sarah is now nursing manager for both the Uttoxeter and Tutbury branches and is heading up a team of 17 registered and student veterinary nurses. You will see Sarah doing stock control, nurse clinics, inpatient care, operating, radiography, training nurses and coordinating daily Rota's. Sarah is also responsible for standard operating procedures, health and safety, equipment maintenance and servicing and RCVS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons) practice standards scheme. Sarah is passionate about patient care, organisation and motivating the team to be the very best they can.

Outside the practice Sarah can be found enjoying downtime with her two children, walking her four dogs or riding the ponies.
