Emily joined the Glenthorne team in 2013 and graduated from Harper Adams University as a qualified RVN in 2016. After a small time away at a different practice, Emily could not keep away and rejoined the Glenthorne team in February 2020.
Emily enjoys all aspects of nursing, however, there are two main passions of Emily’s when it comes to veterinary nursing. These are treating our emergency patients and playing an active role in the training of our student veterinary nurses. This led Emily to undertake a certificate in emergency and critical care, gaining her qualification in 2021. Emily has also undertaken a teaching qualification, therefore playing an active role in tutoring our students part time at a veterinary nursing college.
More recently, Emily has just returned from maternity leave after welcoming her little girl into the world, so if she isn’t running around after a crazy 1 year old, you will find her having some “baby free time” walking her two black Labradors across the fields enjoying some peace and quiet!
